PID 3SIXTY is the new software platform of the Possehl Identification Solutions (PID) Group to manage the product identification processes at their customers in a most innovative way. It is developed & maintained by the PID Software Solutions team consisting of the software experts of PID.

Being a global group with ten companies and over 1,000 international product identification experts, PID is a major player in the product identification market supporting customers in all industries with their product identification challenges. 

For our PID 3SIXTY Team in Munich, Hamburg or in Turin, we are looking for a

 

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER JAVA (F/M/D)

Your tasks:

You will work in an international team developing a brand new group-wide software platform that enables data management of industrial printing applications. You will be part of a young, dynamic, and motivated team that works with the latest technology stack (SpringBoot, GitLabCI, Docker, AWS...).

  • You take responsibility of the backend development and develop features following our agile development process
  • You align on backend technology and architectural decisions together with our software architect
  • You collaborate with the entire project team (product management, product owner, UI/UX expert, development team, test engineer) for a coordinated and excellent output
  • Troubleshooting, debugging and updating of the software

You should have:

  • Several years of experience as a backend developer with Java Spring Boot, Apache Camel (Nice to know), Netty, Maven, JUnit, Mockito
  • Know-how & experience in C# is a plus
  • Knowledge of design patterns and unit testing
  • Entity frameworks, MVC, REST services are not unknown to you
  • Experience in working in an agile environment
  • Experience in tools like JIRA, Confluence, GitHub
  • Experience with industrial desktop applications & mobile apps
  • Experience in one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, etc.) as a plus
  • Ability to work independently and at the same time be a good team player in a global team
  • You have excellent communication skills in English
  • Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
